April 23, 2009 found us heading to Virginia Beach to meet up with the ODC group to have a wonderful weekend of fun and food. Why yes, food. Linda & Jim Mathney, Chuck Tolson , Larry and I met at the Flying J at Carmel Church on Interstate 95 and after fueling up we headed to the beach. Arrive around 1 pm and got all set up and then several others from our group arrived. Thursday night was TV night as all of us seem to have shows that we can't miss.
Firday more of the group started to arrive and then off to the beach some of us went on our bikes. Now it was suppose to be just a short little ride which turned into 11 miles around trip. Okay, all I can say is I MADE IT. Don't think I need the upcoming stress test on next Thursday but oh well will do it anyway.
Firday night Happy Hour was great getting to see most everyone for the first time since Christmas.
Saturday a group that had brought their motorcycles went on a long ride and other just visited and some of us "dummies" did another bike ride.
Now it is Sunday afternoon and most everyone is gone home but five coaches are staying until tomorrow morning.

i thought you'd were still away but i guess not...thanks again for putting up with us we had a great time...washington was very busy and several days were "HOT" but we all survived hahah...we arrived home on monday of last week and now lar is out scouting turkeys ...as you know the trying to catch up with everything while away takes time and the mail ugh...say did you buy some bikes??? tracy
