The Big A Bus was back on the road on Thursday , June 18 heading to Lanexa, Va for a weekend of fun and sun. We have Madie and Taylor, our oldest two grandaughters with us and arrived around 1pm and got all set up. Went to the pool for a while and then back to visit with all the others that had arrived. Not long after that we got a terrible rain, thunder and lightening storm but no damage was done to us, however, the office here at the campground got hit.
It has already been a rough week for us with a friend finding out she had breast cancer another friend being told he had ASL and then Kate, our 4 yr old grandaughter fell and broke her leg. That just about did me in for the night. We still don't know if she is going to have to have surgery or not but we are praying that all will be okay on Wednesday when they xray it again to see if it went into place.
Friday, the girls and I went into Williamsburg to the Prime Outlet Mall and did a little shopping. Just for some peoples information I did not go to Coldwater Creek.
Saturday we had a great breakfast with the club members and then went to the pool again for way too many hours and tonight we are really not feeling very good. I think we did not take in enough liquids and I know better than to not drink.
Tomorrow is Fathers Day and we will be heading home after breakfast and Bry and Julie will come out to get the girls. Next week we have a few projects on hand to get done but nothing earth shaking.Mo & Lilly(Julies neices) came out with Bry and Julie so we could see them before they move to Tampa. Scott, their Dad, is in the Marines and is being sent to McDill Air Force Base for 3 years. We will miss them. Those girls are like two more grandaughters as they have really grown up around us and call us Mimi and Papa.
