Catch up time again. Sunday June 7, 2015

We arrived home on Saturday afternoon April 11, 2015 and have not stopped since.   However if I think about it we just don't STOP.

Bryant, Julie and Madie came out on Sunday afternoon to see us since it had been a long time, since last November, plus we wanted them to meet the couple that was coming over to sign a lease on the house for a year and we hope longer.  They both work at North Anna Power Plant and our friends Jackie and Skip have known Jessica for years.   We think it is going to be a good fit for all of us.

Of course there was plenty of work to do before they moved in.   Bleaching and power washing the deck and then sealing it.   Now I had done two in Florida so I was ready to get it done.   Also the flower beds were having a hay day with weeds so I got those all cleaned and we had 8 yards of mulch delivered and you know what you have to do with that. SPREAD IT.

Larry did all the inside work such as checking all toilets for leaks, replaced several smoke alarms which he could not hear beeping but trust me I could.  Finally after lots of back breaking work it was ready for them to move in.   Jessica has 2 girls that like to plant things so we decided to do a small garden with them, We have squash, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, okra, mustard.  I think that is all.It is fun working with the girls. They are 9 and 11 and Larry plans to take them fishing soon.

We have some work to do in the barn/shop area to make it more livable for us when we are which isn't much.   Larry boxed in a sky light and has a window to install so that we don;t feel like we are living in a hole.  I have a really complete kitchen setup and we sleep in the motorhome. We have all the comforts we need and enjoy being able to just go when we want to.

We will be going to Indianapolis on Tuesday June 9 along with Madie our 16 year old granddaughter to see our daughter and family.   They don't know Madie is coming along.   After we get back from there we will be going to Ithaca NY to visit with some friends that we have worked with in Habitat for Humanity. Then a trip to Maggie Valley in NC is scheduled then Michigan in August and September for 2 more HFH Builds.   Back to Virginia in late September, a campout with ODC in October, hopefully a build in Alabama in November, Thanksgiving in Indianapolis, a Master Safety Training Course in Americus, Georgia in early December,  then to Dade City, Florida for the winter with a side trip to Indy for Christmas.   Busy ?????

Reports of fun things as we go.
